Lauren Francis graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in illustration, concentrating on Children's Illustration and Fantasy Illustration. By day she's a web/graphic designer, by night an aspiring children's book writer/illustrator and fantasy artist.
Lauren currently lives in Northern California with her husband and two cats in a house that's much too small for her embarassingly huge collection of picture books.
