The Glass Dragon
The Dragon Nimbus #1
My first book, always my favorite because it was first. For many years this was a "Someday" book. I'd write it "someday" when I had time, when I had more writing skills, when I sold my first romance.... I never did sell the romances and probably won't now. I've found my home in fantasy and the world of the Dragon Nimbus Series.

The Perfect Princess
The Dragon Nimbus #2
This is one of those books that was a joy to write. The personalities of the characters never ceased to surprise me. At one point I didn't speak to either Mica or Rosie for nearly three weeks. But they won the arguement and the result is a delightful book that is probably the best written of the first three. Don't believe the bookstore if they try to tell you this is out of print. There's a distribution glitch we're trying to work out.

The Loneliest Magician
The Dragon Nimbus #3
Yaakke gave me nothing but trouble from day one of writing this book. I didn't understand my own son at fifteen, how was I supposed to figure out this kid's problem? Then about three drafts into it I had a major revelation. Yaakke's greatest need was to earn the right to a heroic name! Once I knew that, the book fell together and grew. But the best part of this book was working with the lace. I've been tatting for almost twenty years and working bobbin lace for at least fifteen. At last I had a chance to put my favorite obsession into a book.

The Dragon's Touchstone
The Dragon Nimbus History #1
I was sorry to leave the time line of the Dragon Nimbus series with some issues unresolved - don't worry, the sequel to The Loneliest Magician is coming soon. But I had to figure out a lot more about the Dragon Nimbus History before I proceeded. So back in time we go, three hundred years to the time of Nimbulan, the Greatest Battlemage. He made the first covenant with the dragons. He has quite a journey before he finds solutions to civil war, fractured monarchy and pursuit of a lovely lady who keeps disappearing on him, just like a dragon.

Guardian of the Vision
Merlin's Descendants #3
DAW wants to keep up this series with a new hardcover every year. We'll see if I can keep up with the schedule. Vision traces the stories of twin brothers of the Kirkenwood clan. One is a Catholic priest, the other a pagan willing to pay lip service to which ever religion is legal this year during the turbulent reign of Elizabeth I in England. The story deals with loyalty and foreign influences and the emergence of the nation state. But then the Pope and the king of Spain have other ideas. Add a new villain with an agenda of her own and the political and magical soup grows thicker by the minute.

Guardian of the Freedom
Merlin's Descendants #5
GUARDIAN OF THE Freedom, Merlin's Descendants #5 The ten years leading up to the American Revolution is one of the most exciting periods in our history. It's full of change and energy. People corresponded all over the world in a massive idea exchange. I had to bring Merlin's Descendants into the picture. I also had to learn to fence for this book. Now I'm addicted.

Olympus
"The Sword of Heracles"
Olympus: Anthology of short stories revolving around Greek and Roman myths and heroes. Edited by Martin H. Greenberg and Bruce D. Arthurs. I have a short story in it titled "The Sword of Heracles." This story jumps into the new series Merlin's Descendants. This is my first sale of short fiction and I kind of like the twist I gave it. This should still be available in large bookstores' back list.
