When I embarked on my journey into Elizabethan England I had no idea I would
need two monster volumes to tell the story. And I still did not get to go
play with Will Shakespeare.
The children from GUARDIAN OF THE VISION pick up the quest to keep England
safe from monsters and demons that threaten the peaceful reign of Elizabeth
I. They must battle the forces swarming around Mary Queen of Scots and her
rivalry with Elizabeth for the English Crown, and the religious wars in Europe
that spill over to fuel The Spanish Armada. With nightmares of werewolves,
Deirdre, the daughter of Father Griffin Kirwood, and her cousin Hal, one of
Donovan Kirkwood's twin sons, journey clandestinely to Paris to negate the
chaos begun by her mother. But time is running out and the werewolves are
coming from unexpected directions.
