***Spell of Infusion***

for use in the sickroom

For fever of the head, pain of the teeth, or sickness of the eye,
Thou shalt envelope the bed with a length of fine white cloth
Covering also the fumigation bowl which must be placed
Over a brazier at the head of the bed in which the person lies..

Place in the bowl a white rose, flowers of melissima,
flower of the night willow and bark of withe.
Pour over with water from a clear spring.
Heat with a fire of deadfall alderwood.

Come enchantress or sorcerer, over these plants recite.

Whether it be evil demon or evil god,
evil ghoul or evil spirit
That holdeth this one it it's grip
By this incantation at his head,
May they be removed.
